ENGINES.

A choice of four and six-cylinder engines are available for the BMW 3 Series Saloon. The engine line-up is married to an automatic transmission, with Plug-in Hybrid and Mild Hybrid models available to choose from.

MILD HYBRID TECHNOLOGY.

Providing sharper power delivery and greater efficiency, M340i xDrive models are equipped with Mild Hybrid Technology which gathers kinetic energy during braking or coasting and converts it into electricity. It is stored in an additional 48V battery and used to supply the electric vehicle systems alongside supporting the internal combustion engine.

CONTROLLED HANDLING.

Thanks to refined chassis tuning, the balance between sportiness and comfort has been enhanced on the BMW 3 Series Saloon. Stiffer suspension results in precise and composed handling on all road conditions. The force needed to turn the steering wheel can also be reduced in Comfort mode to achieve superior steering during everyday driving.

PLUG-IN HYBRID.

Introducing a new high-voltage battery with 19.5 kWh of usable energy, the fifth-generation of BMW eDrive technology has a much higher energy density, resulting in an increased range of up to 101 km, as well as greater efficiency.
